Welcome to Torbole on Lake Garda
We introduce you to our home, the capital of outdoor holidays
Have you seen the immense view of Lake Garda as soon as you pass the large bend on the road leading from Nago to the lake?
This is the most famous and widest view, the one that opens your heart and makes you feel immediately on holiday. At home.
The small town below is Torbole on Lake Garda.
Torbole on Lake Garda
Torbole on Lake Garda is the home of the Ora, the southerly wind that has made it world famous as a sailing and windsurfing centre. In fact when going out in a sailing boat or on a windsurfer, you may often find yourself close to a local or international champion or Olympian who has chosen to come to Lake Garda to train.
Torbole however is also an international centre for cycling.
It does not matter if it is a racing bike, mountain bike or an e-bike, here you will find routes for every level: on the flat, ascents and descents, from asphalt to mountain paths; for those who wish to commune with nature without making too much effort or for those who wish to challenge themselves and recharge their batteries.
It is quite normal here to have a multisport day: there is something for all tastes and levels.
In fact the combination of lake and mountain is there for you with beautiful walks both in the hills and the mountains, with 10 out of 10 views that we are sure you will never forget.
And if that is not enough, five kilometres from Torbole, there is Arco, which with its 2000 limestone climbing routes, rich in footholds and the Rock Master, is the world capital of rock-climbing.
But for lazy or relaxing days you are not short of beaches for a few hours in the sun, or a dip in the fresh waters of Lake Garda. Also, having an aperitif with a view of the lake, tasting good traditional Italian food, enjoying some celebrations in the trendy bars and checking the calendar of sporting or cultural events allows you to fit in to life in Torbole.
Torbole with its characteristic marina, its beaches, shops, bars and restaurants, wins the hearts of generations of young travellers who fall in love with our little town.
Lake Garda is everyone’s lake.
We look forward to welcoming you.
